Hi, guys, just wondering if it's possbile to run a reverb pedal into the FX loop so if I'm playing in a particularly dry environment I can click on some reverb rather than changing all the presets every time. Or is there another easier way to achieve this?

When I tried a reverb pedal in (What I assume is) the loop, it just cuts the signal off when I turn it on. I tried different configuartions and inputs to make sure as well.

Thanks for your help,

Mike

You can just turn it on and off with your pedal on the control 2 and not change the preset. Or maybe I'm not understanding something? You do have the control 2 or a midi pedal right?

I've got a Behringer midi pedal (The big silver one), but not the control 2. How would I control the reverb with that?

Thanks

you have to set up which midi CC to send to activate reverb on off within the gsp1101

you can do it via the editor i think , and also have to setup the behringer accordingly, when i owned one i had a UNO chip inside it, so i had the bottom 5 buttons for presets and the top 5 for sending midi CC (ie turning effects on and off) , i just bought a control 2 for cheap tho, gonna see how well that works

otherwise you could also setup a reverb pedal in the FX loop of the gsp1101 , as long as you have the FX loop active in all your patches it should work

why it cuts the signal i'm not sure... bad cables /no power to the pedal .. could be that

the fx loop is on the far right at the back of unit, i think it's labelled correctly

Ah, maybe I've not set up each patch for the loop, I'll give that a try!
