gt800 / gt1000 world mains question ?

Hey guys,

im looking into picking up a gt800fx or gt1000fx and was wondering if these power amps both offered switchable world mains ? i need something that will work in the US and Europe for touring.

Currently im running a rocktron velocity 300 and it has good power and a pretty great sound but the matrix has me curious as i think it will have more headroom. The only feature i would miss from the rocktron is the resonance and presence control which does help dial in the tone, any thoughts on that ? I'd be running the matrix with a modified engl e530 preamp in front which sounds killer.

Hi there,
The GT1000FX has a switch inside to enable you to run on either US or European voltages. Most of our touring artists are using the GT1000FX.

The GT800FX can be adjusted but takes a little more time than just flicking the switch.
