Tweaked my HBE patch on the AxeFX to fit the backing track. So, i suck at the acoustic parts. Hands are getting stiff.

I am using the AxeFx 2 mk1 direct into a laptop via usb. My presets are usually based on the QuickRod, HBE OR mesa boogie mk 4. I'm using different guitars, a charvel desolation with sd blackouts. Ibanez rg570 with rio grande bbq. Kramer Assault plus and jackson dinky. I'm keeping it simple as possible.

Killer! I'm not real familiar with the AxeFX except clips I've heard here, for live performance, does it go straight to a PA, or or to a power amp, then cab, mic, then PA?

It has mic outputs as well as 1/4 outs. You can run direct into the pa with cab Sims and run into a power amp/ cab without them at the same time.

I was going back and forth between the Charvel and Kramer. On the poison song I used a Jackson dinky with ghost piezo bridge. The last clip was Kramer tuned to Eb. I used the Charvel/Ibanez for the night ranger tunes.

Sure! The rhythm tracks was BE100, BE channel. The left track is a Chinese v30 with a heil pr-30 mic, right track is an EVH speaker with an E609 mic. Double tracked. Settings are pres at 1 oclock, bass at 9 oclock, Mids at 4 oclock, highs at 1 oclock, Master at 10:30, gain at 3 oclock. Everything else was off. Used a 90's Jackson Dinky with an EVH Frankie pup. Solo was same settings, hit the HBE channel with both speakers/mics in the center, just each on a separate track, dialed in each for tone and added the reverb to the v30.

Sorry, been a busy day. I believe it's a DS1, it has SD Blackouts and a real Floyd Rose. Plays nice but I wish the frets were a little taller. At first I was going to sell it because I wasn't jiving with the voicing but it rips with the axefx.
