So I'm coming to conclusion that I need to have a custom guitar build, so I'm selling a couple of my guitars to fund it.

What I want:

LP-shape style
TOM-bridge
Thinner body or lighter wood - or maybe a combination (has to weigh about 11 pounds)

I have looked at Hufschmid Guitars in Switzerland, but would prefer that it was a Luther from a country that are a member of EU, so that I wouldn't have to pay taxes (it is very expensive to import things here in Denmark - 33%) and I'm not sure that he would use a TOM bridge (and he isn't in EU), but hes axes looks incredible!

For the right guitar I wouldn't mind paying the taxes.

Is there anyone out there that can point me in the right direction?

:)

I'm tempted to say Ruokangas (www.ruokangas.com) and Amfisound (www.amfisound.fi). Both are Finnish luthiers that have their own lines of different guitars, and enjoy rather a good reputation at least domestically here. I'm sure either of them will be able to do exactly what you're looking for.

Juha Ruokangas or Nik Huber are the ones that come to mind. Either one builds great guitars to the specs you want. Good luck

Thanks, will definitely be checking these guys out!

Feline makes a solid guitar as well, but I think they're UK.

Does not compute.

If you want it to weigh that much it shouldn't be a problem, generally people want 8 to 8.5 lbs without being it weight relieved or chambered. You wouldn't need a thinner body or lighter wood to achieve this.

Nik Huber gets my vote also. Here's a gallery to commence drooling on, don't forget to check the sold section at the bottom.
