Maybe that's a good thing...

Last year, I received an amp like that from an eBay seller who took it to a "shipping store". The pros there put it in an oversized box (actually, two small boxes taped together to form one box way too big for the amp), and that was it. Just the amp flopping around in a big box. No foam, no bubble, no nothing. The seller said "not my problem", the shipping store said they didn't pack it that way, the shipping company said "We sure as hell ain't paying for that". All of which has cured me from buying non-locally and saved me quite a bit of money. So maybe it's a good thing after all.
I got an amp that way before! No damage luckily, but not even a shred of packing in it. just two boxes taped together from a pro store.
Best way I have found is to just built a crate. Its pretty easy.Just need a circular saw, some plywood some 1"x1" for the corners, a drill and a some deck screws. Then Wrap amp in bubble wrap and drop it in the box. I can do it in under an hour. Hasn't cost more than $75 to ship one FEDEX. I have also had good luck double boxing them.

i dono ive ordered 2 tube amps from guitar centers and they shipped them for me

hes either retarted and doesnt know what hes talking about or hes a liar and lazy and doesnt feel like looking up how to do it
