Congrats to Paul Warren at the Raleigh Music Academy in Raleigh, North Carolina for arranging a 5-day workshop ( July 14~18 ) featuring Guthrie and Mattias IA Eklundh. Here is the official announcement from Paul at the Petrucci Forum.
The final day of this event - July 18, Sat - will be a Suhr product clinic that will be co-sponsored by the renowned high-end music retail store Indoor Storm. It will feature Guthrie demonstrating various Suhr products and will include performances of his songs to backing tracks and perhaps some jams as well.
But that's not all. Once this event concludes, Guthrie and I will head north for an east coast clinic tour visiting select Suhr dealers in Virginia Beach, Washington DC, New York, Boston, Montreal, Toronto and then finally in Chicago. There are still some little details that need to be worked out in regards to the dates, but over 90% is set in stone. I'll have more info about the east coast clinic dates over the next week or so.
So, Guthrie is finally coming to the US East Coast, guys! So, all of you guys on the east who've wanted to see Guthrie live, here's your chance! Stay tuned.
