i love you mang. seriously.

i sent brent a jcm800 for modding. got it back yesterday. extra preamp tube, loop and depth knob. new power tubes and a biasing.

opened the box up last night to make sure it worked. and man, does it WORK!! Plugged into a warhead stack (4xv30's and 2xjag15's) it totally tore me apart....with the master on 2. the gain was only at 1 oclock, and it was killing it. easy and singing harmonics squeals, super tight pick attack (main request upon sending the amp to him) and lots of USABLE bottom end, making for a more modern marshall tone.

i have a couple of guys from the forum coming over sunday to show her off. we will try it though some other cabs and an isp sub. gonna see what happens when we max it out.

the best part was getting one from brent before juggy did. i dont care if i paid more, i got one first, chump!!

such a sad story.....

i love the hydra. i played it again last night. but i THOUGHT i had a chance at a DAR forza for 2500, so i agreed to sell the hydra before i even got it home to help pay for the DAR. i never go back on a deal, so i have to ship it out this weekend.

Just got back from Marty's house. This amp is the best sounding marshall amp I have ever heard. It is loud as all get out you would never tell its a 50 watter, heard Marty and Scott from Warbeast play through this beast and holy shit does it handle the brutes.
Now I have been suckerd in on a quest to find me an old JCM so I can send it over to Brent. That dude knows how to mod a Marshall for sure..

On a side note got a sneak peak of the new warbeast CD just guitars, drums and bass no vocals yet and its going to DeStRoY everything in its path Marty and Scott kicked major ass writing on this one.
