To the sniper?

Hellion is high gain Jose based with variable diode clipping and a cathode follower. It’s almost like a mix of Marshall and Mesa Mark series.

Sniper is plate driven and doesn’t have any diodes. 4 stages for base circuit with an optional 5th stage. It’s more modern sounding to me, with a thicker midrange and more low end. It’s still plenty tight but it has a different feel due to the plate driven stack.
