I am using all 3 of the FX loops on my Access and everything is working perfectly. . . . with one exception
I am using a Art X11 MIDI foot switch (not programmable).
On the Access I have each processor on it's own MIDI Chanel and I can call up any combination of program # or presets on each of the 3 FX units when selecting a program number on the foot switch (25 Banks with 5 presets per bank).
Problem: I cannot get around the fact that each of the selections I make at the foot switch (IE: Bank-1 - #1 to Access preset #1 \ Bank 1 - #2 - Access preset #2 etc.) The Access always changes the Access preset to the matching number of any bank\selection I make on the foot switch.
If I could start at preset 1 and press Bank 1 - #1 and be able to press bank 1 - #2 and only change the processor presets (Leaving the Access at Preset#1) in their respective loops (A,B,C) life would be grand. Cannot figure out how to do this within the Access unit. Read the manual cover to cover many times and I don't see how I can do this unless I am missing something in the MIDI set up.
I know I can set a MIDI channel and store settings on the pre amp (IE - Clean\Tube1\Tube2 and External Pre amp) so this is where I'm trying to program what pre amp preset gets called up each time I press a preset on the foot controller. Seems like it would have this functionality, as this is the same process I use to pull up any specific patch on any of my 3 processors but I does not work on the Access presets itself.
My work around is to copy my base tone say - Rhythm to several Access presets per bank. Same with a Lead tone to a few presets per bank, then one clean tone per bank on the foot controller. What I'd like to do is have just Rhythm\Lead and clean tone and use the rest of the selections in that bank only change what FX are used. Seems I'm not able to do this on the Access but it does seem like I should be able to do it.
