Had a chance to a/b my Ecstacy and Helios today

I need a better a/b/y but I used what I have for now .
So the Helios has something the Ecstacy does not and vice versa .
I would say the blue channel on Ecstacy is closer to the Helios but not as much bite .
Together the amps sound incredible !!
Ecstacy has a better clean channel .
I really think the Ecstacy clean is underrated just takes some dialing in.

The hot input in 80's mode on the Helios is my favorite tone !
To me if you want lynch , van halen 80's tone the Helios delivers !!!
Right now I'm using a trace Elliot with two v30's on bottom and 2 greenbacks on top and love it with the Helios .
On the Ecstacy im using a Marshall 1960a with 2 v30's and 2 h30's in an x . I don't like it as much but one of the h30's stil needs time to break in.
I also have 2 Bogner cabs one angled with all v30' s and an ubercab with 2 v30's n 2 gt75's in an x and hate it maybe the speakers are not broken in ?
I will try changing the 75's with some well broken in 75's if that don't work it's greenbacks on top .

When I get something to record through iPhone i will post some clips.

One thing that is a bummer is you can't switch between plexi and hot mode .
I like the clean on plexi mode much better on the Helios .
That would make the amp a better live amp imho .

How heavy does the helios get in 80s mode? Curious how it would sound thru the all v30 Bogner cab.

I have one crappy clip of my iPhone laying on the floor .
As soon as I get something to record with I will post a clip .
What I noticed with all v30's in my Bogner slant cab it still sounded good , just smoother .
The v30 greenback combo seems to be just right to my ears sounds more raw and gritty .

this was Hot Input in 70's mode, boosted with a Mesa Flux. Cab is an Uberkab with V30/Scumback J'75's
