Hey guys. My Hagen just arrived, I plugged it in and started playing. About 5 minutes after I started playing I noticed a tube started glowing intensely, and the tube/fuse failure led went on. What should I do? Is it a tube failure or should I just change the fuse? My Hagen arrived with el34's, I only have a new set of el34 Mesa boogie tubes, can I change them with no problem or should I rebias? Which fuse should I use? I can't believe this happened 5 minutes after it arrived. Thanks guys.

That's a bummer, because I know how excited I was when my Hagen arrived.

Don't freak, tubes are tubes and you can't predict how they will handle shipping. Sometimes it's all good and sometimes..well you know.

I can imagine Peter will be helpful here or maybe Jens can help you out, he's in LA. I suggest sending an email directly.

Hagen Rules!! Enjoy...

Jens is in my work shop today and will be
back on Wednesday.

Please tell me the PC number on the sticker
on the tube base. My email is:
peterdiezel (at) diezelamplification (dot) com

Please send Your address, phone number and
serial number of the ampp so we can provide
You with a matched tube.

Meanwhile try to replace the tube fault fuse.
Sometimes tubes will work agaon after a short.

Sorry,
Peter
