Hey, glad to be of assistance...
The VH4 recorded best through G12K100s due to the speakers "neutral" voicing. Not that they're flat, but they're very very nice in recording.
For gigs and jammin', I liked the VH4 through the V30s, just a hair more than the G12K cab. That said, I found a full complement of V30s in a 4x12 to be almost too spiky for the VH4, and it took away from its subtle tonal characteristics. Either an X patter of V30 and G12K or 2 separate cabs loaded fully with each would be best with the VH4 in my HUMBLE opinion.
The Hagen has a raspy midrange that - when the volume gets thumping - benefits from the neutrality of the G12K speaker. On lower volumes, it likes either the V30 or G12K. I've been tempted to try the new Creambacks with the Hagen - but my sound isn't so far off that it's mandating the need to swap.
Overall, I like the feel of the front-loaded cabs with the Diezels better. A Hagen - depending on the style of music you're playing - could go either way. Front loaded for heavier music, rear loaded for hard rock and the like. Just my opinion.
The VH4 always sounded better with FL cabs. In my experience.
Peace
