wow, that's just nuts. i have a '79 JMP and i use an MXR EQ (10 band) with it but there's no way in hell i'm hacking a hole into the headshell for it to be there forever. that's just all sorts of wrong.

how much do they want for it?

If it's done to a vintage Marshall, it's sacrilage. But the fact of the matter is, if it is a vintage Marshall, it means it was more than likely used and played on by rabid acid eating pot smoking shroom chewing powder tootin' rockin' cats who thought - in a daze of glory - "hey man, like, let's, you know, like, ya man, stick a, like EQ right on the, you know, faceplate, man...".

Who originally thought about doing that? Damn man!!!? I don't care if it'd be easy to un-mod. I wouldn't want to own an amp that was owned by someone so stupid. Who knows what other stupid things he could have done to it?

LOL, I have to agree!!! To some people, its a tool, whether its a Marshall that got hacked to install a pedal or smoothie blender or a 63 strat to put a recessed floyd on. If it sounds good and works fpr the end user then more power to him. Im not sure that I would do any of that but I cant knock him either...
