Awesome my Brother!!! Digijams is going to have a HUGE man crush on you if and when he sees this!!

:D

Thanks Ralph! So, you're saying I ought to take down the pics? ;)

Nice work Bob

Are you using a small CNC like this for the work?
http://www.shopbottools.com/mProducts/shopbot_buddy.htm

Thanks Mike. My machine is significantly bigger than that. The small machines are great for a lot of things but I don't find them practical for cabinets due to the table size. I'm using a welded frame machine made by Camaster (CR-408 X3), 4'x8' table which effectively takes about 6'x11' of floor space.

the wood is nice, the tribal tattoo designs, not so much

Thanks bud. I hear you on the design and knew it would not be for everyone. I've got more traditional, "elegant" designs coming in fact, I'll be doing a Fender Super Reverb in the near future that will likely be designed in that direction.

Damn, that is a serious piece of equipment!

THATS INSANE. Ultimately, adding to our conversation, I would like to link up and offer your custom boxes as an option if we could work out something cool like that.

Ive looked at this at least ten times now brother and I think everything about this is amazing!! Love it!!

That'd be awesome

The design on this one isn't really my thing (not a fan of flames) but nonetheless the wood is BEAUTIFUL!!! Absolutely stunning work.

Honestly, its not my thing at all(Im easily satisfied with simple black or purple tolex) but I got loads of respect and admiration for the work. I can definitely see how this would appeal to people....

Beautiful !! I could never take that out playing

Yeah, I would say that realistically these are going to be show pieces that are not taken out for club gigs.

Yeah, it's a fairly substantial machine for sure.

Absolutely and I have some ideas based upon your logo in the case you want to have a standard carved design available. Either way, let's talk.

Thanks Ralph, that's the desired affect so I'm stoked. Next one will hopefully cause some drooling because I'll be using figured and/or exotic woods.

These are definitely going to have a fairly small market, however, I do think there will be a market for them because the options are virtually endless from a creative design and substrate (woods, plastics/plexi, solid surface, and aluminum) perspective. I am also able to do 3D reliefs although machine time is more extensive so the price also goes up.

We'll see, but I'm pretty excited about the prospect of doing these because the woodworking has been my artistic passion for the last couple years so this should be fun as well.

Absolutely agree and to be honest, I can think of things that I would dig in other materials... Great to see you that you found something else that you are not only passionate about but obviously very talented at..

Thanks Kage, appreciate it.

I'd be interested in hearing what other materials you might be interested in. I have the capability to do woods, acrylic/plexi, solid surface materials (Corian, etc.) and even aluminum although I don't have a metal shop and would likely leverage a family members machine shop.

I think that a Purple quilted cab would look cool but you got me thinking with the Acrylic / Plexi.. Purple Plexi even!!!
