Have you always wanted to like the Bee Gees, but they were too gay for you?

Subjective

Money =/= music

I'd rather be a wealthy rockstar (e.g., members of Kiss) vs a poor virtuoso (e.g., Allan Holdsworth who's my favorite guitarist, FWIW).

Holdsworth's family had to start a go fund me to help cover his funeral expenses. SMH.

It sucks that entertainers and pro sports figures are financially rewarded more than artists, doctors, etc., but that's reality.

That's not the core of what I was getting at, though

Because of the way the record industry worked back in the day (it's probably even worse now) record sales have almost no correlation with musical talent

It's more a demonstration of how marketing worked in the past vs how it works now

If you wanna say Kiss or whoever are marketing geniuses? 100% agree. Musically? No.

Bee Gees...way gay, but I had to figure out what the hell they were saying here - " What you doin' on your bed on your back? Ah"

Only took 49 years to look that one up

IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW. IF YOU WERE CRAPPING YOUR DIAPERS OR NOT EVEN BORN WHEN RELEASED STFU lol.

Would ya just watch the hair. Ya know, I spend a long time on my hair and he hit it; he hit my hair. LOVE THE FUCKING BEE GEES

I always thought Tragedy was cool and would make an awesome metal version. The minor key and feel hits pretty hard.
I got my first stinky finger to How Deep Is Your Love…ah memories.

I think the Sat. Night Fever album still holds up. I'm 54. If you're my age or older, think back to when that came out. There was no VH yet. The other biggest album of the era was Frampton Comes Alive. If you were a Kiss fan, their albums were pretty big, but not as big on the radio. All were very different, but the SNF songs are in regular rotation in my iTunes library and I never skip past them. There are no weak spots in any of their songs - writing, arranging, musicianship, KILLER singing and production. Yes, they were the whole package. All honor to the Gibbs.

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again
