I did two sacred Reich albums. Bill Metoyer was my hero and the reason I got into audio engineering.
 
I went St. Louis HS with Mark K. and his band was Sacred Rite (and Sabre before that).
Their albums were produced in the 80s at Rendezvous Recording Studio in Manoa by Pierre Grille, which was still around as of a couple of years ago.

 
I don't think I know Kyle, but I know that place has two venues now. I went there to drop off some gear for a band and Henry Kapono takes some of our students there from time to time to see the studio side of things. I got my first real taste of gear working for Pierre at Rendezvous before I left for the mainland for a few decades. Thats unreal that Sacred Rite is still playing!
 
Mixing the multitracks from last night live right now. I'll put the finals up later. The club got a new video camera and anxious to see how it looks!
