You're in the same boat as me then mate.

Need to know more first 'though - RRP + shipping to Australia = more than I've ever spent on a pick by a country mile.

Couldn't determine what material these are made of. I've been partial to acrylic pickups (Gravity, V-picks) but they really don't last that long.

I hate pointy picks..
Sry..
Ultex for the win..

Apparently they're made from a byproduct of the dairy industry; that's all I've heard.

Super-biodegradable as a result and you must not get them wet or keep them in your jeans pocket; they recommend storing them in your guitar case.

I’m a big gravity picks user. They last longer than the Dunlop nylons I used to play ages ago. I haven’t found a pick design I like more than gravity picks big mini 1.5mm and 2mm razor and sunrise models.

If they deteriorate that quickly what are they gonna do during a long session while sweating profusely? Fall apart in your hand?
Not trying to be a dick about it, but for that price per pick I think it's a legitimate concern.

I had the same thought.

I read the reviews on the site and one dude said he'd played 12 gigs with one so far whilst being known to be a super-heavy picker who can rip a normal pick up in one gig.

I guess it's a matter of degree. Even when your hand's sweating, the pick isn't covered with water 100% at any time.

At any rate, peeps are saying that they last longer than acrylic pics 'cause they wear much-less, gliding over strings more-easily.
