Finally I finished my first attempt at making a head shell for my Haze 40. Why should the Haze 15 have all the fun. Going into this I had very limited knowledge of carpentry. I really have a totally new found respect for the people who do this well.

The head color is Regency Blue. I ported the front for tube heat dissipation. I used furniture grommets to finish off the ports. To finish off the corners I used Peavey 6505mh amp corners. I used the thick Marshall gold piping from Stew Mac. I used a staple gun to attach the piping. The handle is black leather. The 6” Marshall logo is spray painted black.

The front and back are affixed with hook and loop. Easy to remove for tube rolling or replacement from the front. Plus I plan to make another front in a different color so I can swap it out from time to time.

How are the Haze amps anyway? I've been intrigued by them but they seem to have came and went in an instant

I really enjoy the amp. It is not a high gain amp but with pedals can get there. The clean channel is very chimey. It really likes my Tele and Strat. I have had this amp since 2010 so I have had time to dial it in. The on board effects are adequate. Reverb is nice. The delay, chorus and vibrato work as intended. Great amp. On my 4x12 it sounds ferocious. I also love tge control layout.

Looks great. I like how you thought to make sure it had ventilation and how you finished those holes.

It still interesting to me that Marshall amp fans tend to make their combos into heads and fender amp fans tend to make their heads into combos. My Fender brown super is in a headshell and I do own 2 marshalls compared to the 1 Fender, so maybe I am a Marshall guy :)
