Finally I finished my first attempt at making a head shell for my Haze 40. Why should the Haze 15 have all the fun. Going into this I had very limited knowledge of carpentry. I really have a totally new found respect for the people who do this well.
The head color is Regency Blue. I ported the front for tube heat dissipation. I used furniture grommets to finish off the ports. To finish off the corners I used Peavey 6505mh amp corners. I used the thick Marshall gold piping from Stew Mac. I used a staple gun to attach the piping. The handle is black leather. The 6” Marshall logo is spray painted black.
The front and back are affixed with hook and loop. Easy to remove for tube rolling or replacement from the front. Plus I plan to make another front in a different color so I can swap it out from time to time.
