Heart Barracuda live last night

Anybody catch this on Dancing with the Tards last night? I thought it kinda sucked. My band used to play this song. Its a tougher piece than it sounds due to the funky time signature changes throughout. It sounds too slow to me and I thought the guitar tone was a muddy mess. You would think after playing together this long they would have an understanding of volume discipline.

Nothing wrong with that Performance In my humble opinion other then them cutting the song down to fit the TV slot.
I have heard them do better and I have heard them do worse but that's live playing in general!

As far as volume discipline is concerned...How can you tell how loud the stage volume was without being there? Usually a sign of bad stage volume is that you can't hear the singer and I heard her perfectly. As far as the guitar tone, It most definitely had way to much chorus on it but again, that's live for ya lol!

A better question would by why the hell were you watching Dancing with the Stars?.....

Fair enough. My wife was watching it and called me in to see the Heart performance. I like to watch Dancing with the Stars with the mute on and my "instrument" in my hands.

I thought it was too loud because it sounds to me like the mikes are clipping on the drums and guitars.
