heartfield talon - is this thing any good?

The Heartfield was Fender's answer to Ibanez, who was gaining ground with 80s shreders. I've played a few, and they have all been great guitars.

cool. I know they were made in the same factory as the Ibanezes

looks cool - dimarzio pickups (maybe thats a super distortion?) and a Kahler floyd

the scallop job looks a tad iffy though

I'm not sure if they came with scalloped fretboards from the factory...?

I looked at one in the early 90s, but went with the then new RG470, as it felt better in my hands. I've often thought Iabout snatching up a Heartfield, as they are getting rare... but once again, I have my eyes on another Ibanez. I'm trying to score either an AT100 or AT300.

I don't think they came scalloped. And by those pics, an "iffy" job for sure. Vinnie Moore was endorsing these for a short time. Well, they were only around a short time. :scared:
