Hey gang, I recently picked up a very early (2014) Helios 100 and found it to be quite noisy compared to my Helios 50. After messing with the amp awhile I realized the FX loop is causing the hum or hiss through the speakers. I reached out to Jorg on this topic and he said the V4 (fx loop) tube heater needs to be changed from AC to the DC heater of the first three pre-amp sockets. I know a competent tech in town and am going to call when the shop opens but was curious if anyone else had this experience and had more details as to what to tell my tech. Thanks!
