sounds great!
Have you tried helix in 4cm? if so, how does it compare to FX8 for tone loss and fx?

Sounds amazing! I love the OwnHammers with my Helix. Which mic did you use with the EVH?

I dont own an ax8, but I was able to achieve great results via 4cm and the helix. I didn't notice any tone loss at all.

cool! Love the the option to add actual pedals into the Helix loops

It says it is an 8in8out audio interface....to verify, can I use this as standalone with my laptop working with my PT DAW?
That would be awesome if I could then reamp a di later through the Helix matrix into my amps?

please say YES and I may get one today!!!

Messing around with the PV Panama amp and an ownhammer EVH IR. Excuse the clams and silly dive bombs. :) Wasn't going for a tone match here...just familiarizing myself with the unit again and my recording gear. Did this really quickly!

Sounds badass. Where did you get that backing track from?
Thank you. I got it from guitarbackingtrack.com

That's how I use it mainly and why I bought it. I liked the FX8 but now I can have my backup rig on the floor in front of me too. I haven't noticed any tone suck.

I think it was the regular 57!
