NGD, late Birthday gift to go with my Kramer.
Actually pretty surprised by the Jackson branded active pickups.
Super wide string spacing, have a FR1500 on hand to change out from the special.
Worst factory setup ever, but under control after a few this and thats.
Fingerboard is a lot darker than the pic implies.
Overall happy, but hope MSRP wasn't spent.

I'll take either one of them, whichever you prefer least. That Jackson has an especially cool finish on it.

My son bought it for me and works his butt off after school, so no way I'm separating them :ROFLMAO:
Haven't AB'd with my other actives, but they push my amps pretty well and remain articulate.
Literal truss rod thrown in and not adjusted. probably about 2 1/2 turns to straighten it out along with the trem being sunk as deep as possible.
Plays pretty nice now, frets are good, no issues there.
May or may not swap hardware, will see when I change the strings.

That’s great. I mean that your son got it for you. He’s a good son. 😊

The one I wanted was only sold at the Fender Tokyo store in person only and sold out pretty quickly and of course ended up on Reverb for 2-3x the price:cautious:

Hello Kitty just seems to get more and more popular. Half my daughter’s clothes and things seem to be Hello Kitty or, because she always likes goth and Halloween type stuff, Kuromi. (She’s 4 though lol)
