Okay, here's the problem. I'd like to mount my Crybaby Wah to my Furman board, but there's a slight issue. I removed the rubber feet from the bottom of the Wah, but afterwards the screws are about a half inch too long and jut out. This means there would still be a gap between the board and the underside of the Wah.

Anyone have any suggestions or success doing this? Or do I need to purchase smaller screws? I thought about velcro-ing a block/shim between them, but I question its stability.

Thanks!

I had an older wah that didnt work and stole it's bottom plate and doubled them to mount mine

I did the block thing, forget what I used. I actually ended up leaving the feet on and found some wood slats that were the same thickness...spray painted it flat black. Velcro the wood to the bottom panel of the pedal then velcro on the bottom- feet, wood and all. works good as long as you find something close to the thickness of the feet.

you buy the plates designed for this which are linked above. I actually made a pedalboard for someone who wanted it done asap so I put the screws in a vice and cut the screws with a hacksaw. It worked wonderfully and took about 10 minutes total to do all 4 screws.

Or alternatively, get some GripLock pedalboard tape or something like 3M Dual Lock and build it up. I got it from this vid;
