i had an OLD ass piece of analog rack gear about 25 years ago.
i thought it was an ART, pretty sure it began with an "A".
it was a time based analog effects rack. you could only run one "module" at a time, and the modules were flange doubler delay and chorus.
it had grey knobs, and the knob fronts were color group coded to the effect you chose (say flange had green knob fronts and delay had blue).
each little "module" had this little grey button sticking out of the front, and that's how you chose the module you wanted, but, more often than not, it wouldnt stay on what you chose..it would go back to delay, or whatever module was far right. unless u held that little button in.
i remember the chorus being totally killer and you could COMPLETELY saturate the sound and make one picked note pretty much sound like a "whoo whoo whoo" fast police siren (not manly, i know).
i'm pretty well versed in my gear, and esp my gear history. but, for the LIFE of me, i can't figure out what the F this thing was.
anyone?
it KIND of looked like the first rack unit on this page.

any help would be appreciated.
