Help: have a NO AMP gig booked: Need something to go Direct

I just need a boosted Marshall and solo boost???

Atomic?
Line 6?

MY BE-OD into a two cabs???

Ideas...

there are a few places here that rent amps for cheap, do you have anything like that near you?

Tech 21 RK5 would be good.

I've also gigged with a POD 2.0. Worked fine.

Is this something you will be doing again in the foreseeable future? If not, grab one of the little Zoom units like the G1Xon

Cheap and will more than "get you through". If you will be doing this with some type of regularity, you'll really just have to figure out what your needs are. I LOVE my AX8 but there are many options and everyone will tell you what they own is best! LOL!

IMO depends on how much $ you have to spend.

I would really love a Quilter and VH4 pedal as a back up or whatever pedal/power config that you like but if you have tons of money to spend and can see a need for it the AX8 is hard to beat IMO.

If you can afford. A PhilX Friedman head (2 Master Volumes), a Suhr Reactive Load and a Torpedo Cab with Celestion IR-es

you have no amp or only allowed to go direct?
I believe he needs to go direct.

Ohh then Idk. Not sure if quilter has xlr outs. Not sure what gadgets have that.

I bought a used 11rack off craigs for this and it worked great.

Don't do it! Don't compromise your artistic integrity.

Or just use an RK5. It works great. ;)

If it's just a one-off gig where no amps are to be used (sounds like it is), why spend a bunch of money on something you'll likely use one night only (or another occasional "no amp" show)? I say just get something cheap like a Line 6 or similar and deal with it for a night. You're out maybe $100 or less?

Why not put together a simple board with all the dirt and fx you need for the gig and then get the Palmer PDI-09 guitar DI to go straight to console?

This suggestion is playing on the assumption that you already have all the necessary pedals to work the gig with.

Interesting.

So with this you wouldn't need any power? Just get a dirt pedal that you like and done? All power from console and all stage sound via house monitor?

Snag a Line 6 HD500. That will get you through the gig and anyone who isn't a guitarist will not know the difference.

YES!!! the RK5 is amazing direct...

Sorry for the delay....correct on the gig...no amps are allowed at this venue everything goes through the PA.... I was almost thinking of getting a line 6 HD 300 but then I was thinking bite the bullet and get the Atomic 12 ...as I gues this venue will be 4 times a year....
