Help Identify a Les Paul??

A few years ago, Gibson made a Les Paul that was flat black (almost looked purple) and had an exaggerated yellow binding. It looked like a Custom, but it was single bound, not double.

I can't for the life of me remember what the model was called (or find a picture of it). I think Hetfield played one briefly.

Anyone know what it was??
 
They made some customs that were light weight. Cant remember what they were called..
 
This one had a satin black/purple finish with a really yellow binding. . .looked strange, but kinda cool.

Sure you're not thinking about the ESP lineage...??
Or was it the Epiphone "Goth" series??
