Hey guys, i am wondering what the differences are from those that have owned one or the other (or even both) and would recommend (to pair with a 5150)?

Both have onboard reverb, the extra versatility of the 4 channels of the roadster is nice to mix up the available tones. My questions are which has the more solid low end - tightness. is the mid voicing of a tremoverb something i should be concerned about/should play first, and with a roadster are there ways to get them to cut in the mix more versus a tremoverb? If there is anything i am missing here that could make my decision a little easier i would love to hear it

I have played pre and post 2010 recto's and could never get any tones out of them that i liked, too buzzy and the solo tones are not smooth. The roadster is a darker tone, seems to still have the original recto voicing but darker - however - the solo tones sound great and the cleans are above phenominal.

FWIW i do not normally buy and flip gear - this will be the first amplifier i have bought in 8 years, any details at all you could give would be appreciated

I had a Roadster and a Tremoverb at the same time. The Tremoverb is pretty tight, and not as aggressive as the Roadster. The Tremoverbs clean channel is terrible, and not even worth using, but the vintage mode on it is great. The Tremoverb is pretty limited in what it can do at once, but the roadster has a lot more versatility. The roadster has a great clean channel, and great OD channels. The roadster is pretty dark, and not very fizzy at all.

No problem cutting with a Roadster here. Crank the mids, lower the bass and presence and turn off the loop....done. AMAZING AMP!
