I'm replacing the more epi-style switch in my les paul studio with a real switchcraft Gibson 3-way toggle switch

On the Epi style switch, there are 3 posts for soldering the pickup leads & one post on the other side for grounding.

On the Switchcraft switch, there are also 3 posts on one side but there are 2 on the other side.

Can't seen to find a diagram so far... How odes this work?

On the epi switch the on the 3 post side the middle is green and the out sides are red & white and the black goes to ground on the other side.

The switchcraft seems similar but yet differnt?

Thanks!
G.

Sorry. I pay people to do any wiring work that requires solder.

I can never remember, I just put a meter (continuity tester) on the tabs to jog my memory.

OK...

The 2 on One Side you Squeeze Together and attach ONE Wire... That is OUTPUT To the Jack.

On The Side With 3... The Outside Ones are From the Pots/Pickups. You can tell which is which like this... When you flip the Switch to one side the Terminal it's Pointing to is ON.

The Center Lug of the 3 is GROUND & Goes To Grounding Block/Ground Pots.

Hope That's Clear.
