OK I am completely new at biasing amps so I could be missing something stupid...
I picked up a used rebel 20 head and decided to check the bias on the power tubes with a multimeter.
I select MVDC and put the ground in a chassis screw hole. Next I insert the red probe into each test point.
Both test points read about 37 and the pots are turned all the way up with no room to go higher.
Does this mean the power tubes are old and need to be replaced? Am I doing something wrong?
