Not sure what the trouble is. Power tube failure? Fuse blown?
I plugged the amp into two 8 ohm cabinets using the 4 ohm outputs and was playing with it for a while, then suddenly the amp cut out.
No smell, no loud noises, nothing. Just died. I turned it off then turned it on after a while and the red light came on for a few seconds and then cut out again. After that, it hasn't powered back on.
Could anyone help me troubleshoot? Hoping the problem is just the power amp tubes, which should be an easy fix. If it's a fuse, I can look inside and see whether it has blown.
If it's something major, I am SOL, as there are very few amp techs in my neck of the woods who will know what to do with this. Might take months or years to get it repaired in such a scenario.
