What's Happening?!
Right now I have a Spider Web/Spaghetti
trap of Monster cable connecting all of my
FX Processors, Pedals and Suhr Mini Mix's.
Looks like an explosion of cable in the back!
It Sucks!! I want a nice and neat setup with the
shortest distance connecting two points.

Is there a company that sells High quality
cables that I can fabricate to my own specific
length for each output and input?
Shoot me a link to a quality cable company
that might sell what I'm looking for.
Thanks Gentlemen

If you're good with an iron, then there are many places online that sell cable in bulk and connectors. It's been a while since I've done this, so I'm sure someone here can point you to a place with good pricing.

If you're not so comfortable with this, Planet Waves, George L, and Lava Cable make solderless kits that would work just as well...probably a bit more expensive though...

An alternative is what I'm going to do in the near future.

Since cables almost always break at the ends (the jacks), I'm going to buy a big load of Neutrik plugs and just cut the broken cables down to whatever size I want and attatch plugs.

It's essentially the same thing but I'm not paying extra for the cable or the fact that it's solderless.

If you can build your own, order some Pro Co cable and connectors from Sweetwater cut to your specifications and solder them yourself.

definitely build your own if you can. When i got my GCX/GCP i ordered a ton of Mogami cable and Neutrik connectors from Redco Audio and it worked wonderfully!

I think this is what i used:

Any reason to go with the Neutrik over the others listed on this site? Also have you used the 2524 cable as a guitar cord? I'm curious if there are any kinking/coiling issues with this. If there isn't I may just buy 100 feet and make the patch cords I need and also a few 15-20 footers.

I was mostly following this guide that has been posted on this forum a few times. I mostly use the 2524 for patch cables in my rack/pedal tray and some long runs from the rack to my amp, but I haven't actually tried it is a guitar cable.

...George L,...
What he said.
Hey Bro, end all be all??? Go with a length of Evidence Audio Monorail and get some George L's - done. And sonically you won't be in a better place. I use this, and the cable itself is totally top notch. George L's are choice and simple to use, and run fine so long as they're not in a place where they get gobs of movement.

Peace... How's the Mk.4:23Pro doing on deck?? :D
