I’ve seen Randy Hansen as far back as 1978 a couple times and a few times after that. He’s really good but he’s passed his expiration date. I will say he takes on some of the most difficult Hendrix songs. Nothing like Little Wing or Red House or whatever so Randy’s got his place But this other guy is amazing.

I don’t think the Jimi stuff needs to be exact. To quote the man himself..
“This is nuthin’ but a jam”

If anything, I like the rhythm work to be really close because he was a monster rhythm player
