Just a friendly note: if you expect to do well in the crazy competitive amp business, you really need to take pride in your work and use quality components. This Mickey Mouse crap you're shoveling here just isn't going to cut it man...

As for the EL34's I have ran into height variations before and they caused me issues on my '66 Vox AC50 which doesn't have alot of room for the EL34's. I bused one sliding the chassis back in. So I know have to measure the height of the tubes when I retube to make sure they fit and I fliped the handel bolt around to give it a bit more room.

I have all kinds of ideas and designs I'd like to do, but they cost a lot to do right like this. Gotta sell a few more of these before I do any more designs!
