Herbert crackling noise during heavy palm mute

Happens on all 3 channels and volume 1/2

I jiggled the power tubes very slightly to see if there was any loose tube socket pins, but the crackling noise did not repeat.
It happens from cab vibration.

Should I pull the tubes and close the pins a bit? Maybe its time for new tubes...

Put the head on something different and try it to make sure it's a vibrational thing.

If it is vibrational, than it could be:
- tubes
- speaker cable connector
- guitar cable connector
- amp input socket
- amp to cab output socket
- speaker (cabinet) input socket
- inside cabinet soldering or junction box in cab

Get the head off the cab and palm mute it. That will isolate whether it's cab or amp.

It's not the cab, I tried it with my VH4
I just adjusted all preamp tube sockets.
Power sockets are different than the VH4's and they looked good.

It's something with the Herbert, gonna check input jacks now.
I think its the tubes...they are from 2005

The sound you are hearing is not coming from the Herbert but from your bass player's teeth coming loose during practice!!!
