hello. does the Herbert come with the channel footswitch?

i don't mean the Columbus midi pedalboard, i'm talking about the simple&common footswitch.

does it have the +/- boost activable thru it?

thanx.

You need a standard midi pedal (I suggest a Nobels MF1, runs off phantom power).

The +/- is just manually switchable.

uhm...ok so there's no footswitch  niether to change channel, right?

You can change channels from the front panel, even without a footswitch, but one of the points of buying a herbert (and one of its biggest advantages) is its midi switching capabilities.

of course, but, why there's no footswitch?

When you buy midi capable devices usually footswitches are not included.
It's up to the consumer to buy the device he likes.

i thought a simple - not midi- footswitch was included, like almost each amp.
(clean, overdrive channels selectable by a footswitch )

Exactly ;)...

Dont worry mate, just get the columbus, (or any other midi pedalboard), and you will get amazed with the possibilities...

Dont forget that the Beast is all midi !!! and that means... A HUGE WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES

And if I tell you "my truth", it would be a shame if they would include a simple footswithch as you said, and increased the prices of the herbert about $150 or so, to cover that useless footswitch... (I bought a columbus and I cannot be more happy). ;)

a friend of mine told me to consider a 8 presets pedalboard, analogic, cause he don't trust in midi :) like the carl martin octa-switch

i'd like something to select for example a clean with chorus, a clean with no effect, distortion & delay, dist-flanger-delay etc...

You need MIDI for that.

...does your friend still believe in Santa Claus too?

shhhh..!! he could hear you!!!

no he doesn't ;)

this summer i'll get one so...now i'll see the options to consider
