Herbert Question

Hey guys

What would be a good price for a used Diezel Herbert? Ballpark is ok. I was thinking of getting a Splawn but I may have an increase in the amount of funds I have to spend and I really dig the Herbert. I won't have the funds for a brand new one as I will need to get one shipped to me here in Australia and all that involves (shipping, import tax etc)

I bought my herbert a few weeks ago. It's a 2005 model. It's in mint condition. Not a mark on the thing! got it for $2800 USD which is very cheap for how good of condition it is in. I have seen them for as low as $2500 USD and upwards of $3500 USD. So be ready to spend $3000 USD on one without the shipping.

Hey mate, I saw a Herbert for sale the other day for 3500AUD on the melband sale forum I think? Shipping from Melbourne... I think. Although you may be able to have the power transformer reworked for 230/240v if you bought an American one second hand, I'd suggest looking for one in Europe as theyre already in 230/240v and any alterations (if any) would probably be less intensive/expensive.

Beware of customs+shipping, that can easily build into A LOT of money.

I'd say you're looking at about 3500aus or so all up. Good luck! They're worth the effort in attaining!
