Herbert with a 12AY7

Hi, I have a spare 12AY7 around that I may try in the Herbert. What do you think it's the better placement? V1? Phase Inverter?
In theese days I'm finding myself playing with less gain.

Use only 12AX7, 12AT7 (=ECC81), 7025 (=ECC83=12AX7) or 5751 tubes.
