Guess you don't always get what you pay for. My Pro Jr sounds better than that.
I would hold on to it and wait for it to be worth $100,000 and sell it to some sucker.

Dude isn't a good player by any stretch but that taken in consideration it still sounded like ass to me.

I think that is the same dumble that they were trying to sell on yahoo auction for I think it was about $60,000 a few months ago. I cant imagine there are that many dumbles in Japan.

I think that they bought it from the person selling it on yahoo auction. their web site has it listed as not for sale.

Is it me, or is the little green power light flickering..? is that the $100,000 optional feature?

Oh your ears are just not sophisticated enough to hear the blooming mids, organic low-end and the sparkly highs... It's the greatest amp every! ;)

Yeah I don't get it either... at best, it sounds like an amp.

another video of the same amp better quality. still isnt worth the cash in my opinion

Sounds like 1,000 other amps... so I still don't get it.

Couldn't have said it better.

With that dude playing it sounded like a lousy amp... but hey! Tone is in the amp, not the fingers! LOL! :D

Its sounds like a normal guitar amp.

I think anyone who would pay that much for a guitar amp should walk around with a "I'm a sucker" sticker on their back for the rest of their lives.

The insane prices are due to rarity. Tonewise no two were alike

Quite similar to a IIC+ in both regards, albeit on a more ridiculous level. Did not impress me.

Not really. You can get a IIC+ for $2000. Try getting a Dumble for anything under $30,000. And for me at least, the IIC+ IS without a doubt, the best thing Boogie ever came out with and the Mark V's attempt to duplicate that sound is laughable.

Well of course because the dude flat out copies Dumbles that have made it to his bench and he hangs at the Garage picking the brains of Andy and others. I know he contacts Dujmble owners just to look under the hood.

Dude called himself "The Master" at TGP and yes I have the quote due to copy desktop

I would go with Quinn or Carol-ann before that dude.

Same dude built Larry Carlton two amps, Santana, and a few others. He knows his shit nomatter what he calls himself. If he got to look under the hood of RF's Dumble, you can rest asured RF contracted a copy.

I had a Carol-Ann and was very underwhelmed. When a guy can't send you a single screw that he left off his $3500 amp, it's not someone who's amp I need to own.

I meant the fact the high - maybe not insane - price is due to the rarity and they don't all sound alike.

It's got 6V6's in it, which are not the right tube type for a Dumble. Since I know the man, I figured I'd throw that in there. That's NOT the typical Dumble tone in that vid/clip/whatever.
