Here's a couple of Blackstar HT-5 clips

Just some very short sloppy riffing trying to see what it sounds like miced.

The first clip was volume and gain maxed out..........and it was LOUD. ISF control at high noon. Used my LP with BG PAF style pickup into my Mojo cab loaded with Weber 1225's. There was a bit of clipping, but its just a rough clip.

Second clip is just some doom wankery using my Explorer with a Duncan Custom. Gain still maxed out, but recorded at pretty low volume. Started with the ISF just under high noon and then turned it fully left about 18 seconds into the clip.

Third clip was recorded with the LP at conversation volume.

Did you have to get the two 1x12s with it? I heard they only sell with those in the states. I have zero use for the cabs and only want the head!

They sell the head alone online......MF, Music123, etc. However, they are all backordered until April now. I got lucky and snuck in early.

I'm not sure. I did swap out the stock Sovtek 12ax7WA for a NOS RFT. Made a big difference in depth to my ears.

I thought about it many times but I've never tried the RM-20, but I think this one is the keeper. Here is how I would rank the ones I have owned. Not necessarily for any particular style of music because they all do their own thing differently.............but as far as my enjoyment:

1) Blackstar HT-5
2) Matamp XV
3) Egnater Rebel
4) Tiny Terror
5) Epiphone Valve Jr.
