Hey Dudes, Dudettes, Dudinskys!

To make a long story short, here's just my conclusion:
1.RME Preamps are excellent.
2.Boutique Preamps are somewhat overrated

Actually the preamps, respectively the DMA settings, change every few seconds.
It's kind of a blind test.
Would you spend 2K for the tonal differences in the clip? Or could you actually tell, when which preamp is in use?
That is the question
I would say the Fireface 802 preamps are pretty much as good as it gets.

How are the Apogee pres compared to your external ones? The difference shouldn't be too big.
