Hetfield sighting hahaha

Had to tell somebody,I just talked to James Hetfield,he has a house
here in northern Michigan not far from my parents,he was at a water
park with his family. He was looking at my Plymouth GTX and I didn't
wanna say anything,but he did thank god. Long story short he remembered
who I was from a car show,despite what people say about him he was cool.
His kids were super nice too,not bratty at all.
We talked for 30-40 min while his kids went inside.
Had to tell somebody,and as lame as it sounds,I'm still shaking hahaha.

Yeah for sure,I didn't mention Metallica,we talked about
my engine,then bikes,he's smart,I have a tatt and he knew
I ride.he knows what some tatts mean.cool guy,and he still

You did the right thing man. I`ll wager that every time he meets someone in the wild that treats him like "one of the guys", and drops all of the hero-stuff, his shoulders sink an inch.

Very cool! I met him in 2004. Was a very nice guy. Reached out to shake my hand, and I looked at him and said "Sorry..". He asks "for what?", and I replied "I just shit myself". Haha, we both laughed pretty hard for a few minutes. I was a little kid at the time.

He was a very cool and humble dude, talked gear and playing with me. Was very surprised a kid of my age knew as much as I did about guitar and such. Was one of the best moments of my life, along with meeting Dimebag.

Man, that's pretty cool. It would hard not to get all star struck and shit. But if you have other things to talk about it would make it easier to cope for sure. Still pretty fuckin cool man. Metallica is why I play guitar, well everything up to and justice for all.

That's a trip, I just had a Kirk sighting today. He surfs and I saw him surfing at my regular break, he surfs there pretty often when he's here on Oahu so this is not the first time. I don't say anything when I see him, just give a head nod or say Hey or something. I guess Metallica must be on a break from doing anything right now. It's definitley a trip when I'm just sitting waiting for a wave and Kirk Hammett is just right over there doing the same thing. I'll probably try to talk shop with him one of these times, he seems pretty approachable.

If I told him I have a VH4 he would have ran
the only thing I mentioned was the Meathead and the Marsha.
Only because there's an old Mesa sticker on my window.
It was a quick comment,how many knuckle heads tell him what
he should play and what he needs to do? Not me!
He wrote the book in thrash,he was more interested in
my Hemi anyway,he has 27 cars and I choked on my spit.
