Hey guys, it's been a while! I needed a break from Rig talk because it was giving me gas for things I couldn't afford or didn't have the space to play in...so I stuck to playing music and videogames for a while and lo and behold, my GAS vanished! However, now that the fall is here and my band is all but done, I figured it was time to get back to posting 
The last time I posted here, my main rig was a Fender American Deluxe Strat through a VH4, using only a RV7 pedal...it's now been switched to a Musicman Silhouette and Roland JC-77 with the RV7 and a few other pedals. I got the Musicman with Anderson pickups (h1-/h2+ combo, tapped) for 600 bucks so there's no way I couldn't jump on it, and couldn't be happier! I've decided I'm done with rosewood fretboards and will only buy guitars from here on in with ebony or maple boards. Also, the Anderson pickups kick major ass, if the guitars play as well as these pickups sound, I can see what all the fuss is about!
Sadly since the band thing didn't work out and I can't really play the VH4 at home due to neighbours, I can't justify keeping it around...it's the only reason I'd sell this amp, but I'm trying to flip it so that I can get a Kemper from Brad in order to play on headphones and record direct! I have been lurking a little bit over the past couple of months, and Pete L's, Fluff's and Audioholic's clips sound badass enough for me to want one. If you're interested you can PM me, although I'm still trying to flip it locally for less hassle (had a couple of guys say they were interested and back out, kinda pissed me off- also people keep wanting to trade for it and it's like "nope, sorry need the cash.")
In terms of what I've been listing to lately, Birght Light Social Hour have been kicking my ass- saw them live at Zaphod's here last week and they put on a hell of a show:
I've also been rocking Pete Thorn's new CD, the new Periphery, Townsend's Ocean Machine and of course Dethalbum 3, being a hardcore metalocalypse fan! I was actually going to dress up as Dr. Rockso (possibly the ballsiest thing I've ever done) for halloween this weekend, but I have to go to a friend's wedding instead. Oh well, lol!
Anyways time to get my ass to work, but hope y'all are doing well! Cheers,
