Study was 65 people, doesn't say whether they smoked tobacco, drank heavily, ate too many expensive steaks or cheap tv dinners, or had handtrucks blocking up their living space so it's not very conclusive, long term or not.

Just last night I got my 85 year old father (who has dementia and who has been ardently anti drug his whole life) taking 1/4 of a gummy at night to calm him down so he can sleep without waking up and wandering the neighborhood. It’s better than pumping him full of god dam pharmaceuticals.

Yeah no doubt. Read the potential side effects on your average "safe" pharmaceuticals and lemme know what has more potential for negative effects. The study was probably funded by Pfizer.

Text from mom this AM. Sounds like success to me.

“He started getting crabby about 5:00 so I put out one fourth for him to eat. He was going to refuse to take it and I just left it there. About30 minutes later he took it and swore that was the last time. Shortly afterwards he was calm and we had a good night. He just woke me up, all dressed and looking for someone who he said was calling him. I wonder if I just lost my quiet morning.
Have a good day, we love you very much. “

That is great news Floyd. Unfortunately our MSM since the 20's-30s has overly stigmatized something that can benefit some people for less money and with more effectiveness than the lab coats can deploy and so a lot of oldheads have a warped perception of things.

Nothing weirder than going into a dispensary for the first time ever, with your mom who literally put you in rehab when you were 14 because your teacher told her you were coming to school stoned and smelling like weed. 🤣🤣

LOL! My old man hated marijuana then my cousin's husband started a farming operation legally and he somehow was cool with it after that. I did have a similar experience on my way to Florida last fall. My old man called me and said "can you pick up a case of beer on your way down?" since supplies were not really there due to the hurricanes. I almost fell over in my seat as he was just about a complete teetotaler most of my life. Yeah we drank a few beers together, it was nice.

Look, nobody has ever been able to OD on dope; that should tell you all you need to know.

It's non-toxic, FFS. Eat a pound, if you could, and you'll prolly be stoned for at least a week, but that's ALL.

You been blue-pilled Brother Danno.

Night two with the gummies for the old man went very well. He's having 2.5mg of Indica after dinner and so far my mom hasn't had to fight with him or wrangle him back to bed in the middle of the night. She's 83 and he's 85. It's a lot for her to deal with.

Yeah, that’s gotta be tough for her. Mine just hit 91 and 89, we had to take his keys a year ago, he told me he could still whip my ass 😂
They are in good spirits but he has balance issues and has fallen several times. He’s a big guy, it’s tough to pick him up if he’s in a tight confined area.
It’s tough to see them struggling, you do the best you can with what you’ve got. They know your doing all you can for them 😉

We took dad’s keys maybe 3 years ago. Right about that time I took him to the range for what turned out to be the last time. He had an unintentional discharge. In a safe direction, down range, but still. A couple days later I took all his guns. He wasn’t happy about it and still every once in awhile he rattles on about my mom giving his guns to some kids down the street. Even after I tell him I have them. Or he rants about her giving away his two motorcycles. He never had a motorcycle. Dementia. It’s tough.

Yeah dam
I know that’s gotta suck, sorry your having to go through that. Mine is going in the same direction, we just take it a day at a time.
It is what it is. You do the best you can. Im just thankful mine didn’t drown me when I was a pup 😉
