I know it's not what you want, so into the scrap pile they go but first, a picture of the badge on amp, as promised (in Birch).

I think the wooden logos would look great on some certain style amp builds. Maybe like a tweed build with a nice uncovered cabinet.

I may have to employ you in the near future. How long does it take you to make something that size? I'm amusing it's CNC?

Agreed, that would look good on a Boogie Mark combo in wood finish also. And yes, you are amusing. ;)

I hope you're not throwing away that pumpkin...that's a perfectly good pumpkin.

Yeah. I'm not a big fan of the Birch but I made the maple one slightly thicker and don't like how it looks, at least for this application.

Time to completion varies depending on complexity of the project but with that said, I can generally get these turned around fairly quick depending how many you want. 2 weeks would be a good swag but in many cases I could have them done in 1.

I'll shoot you my phone number so we can talk through exactly what you want (i.e. wood type, possibly adjusting the size of the part, etc.).

We'll get 'er done.

cool.
I actually plan on having options on logos and Im also doing some wood head cabs (well my friend from red jones amps is)

Sounds like a fun project. We can work together to come up with a few designs for you to offer. I can also do one-offs, but obviously those will be higher in cost per piece since there's design and setup work every time.

I've got 1 or 2 of those pumpkins that are cut, sanded and sealed but not painted. Randy is first in line since he commented first, but if you guys are interested in painting your own I'd be glad to send you one... all I ask is for actual shipping and some high res pictures once you're done painting.

looks great what tool are you using to make those?

If you're talking bits I'm using an 1/8" and 1/4" endmill and a 1/4" 60 degree vbit cutter.

Are you making those on a CNC milling machine Bob ? As a hobby ?

Thought you were in the IT business ?
