So.....at the end of the day, you can price way high (which is what is said to be happening and what prompted this thread) and it is perfectly ok as long as your advertisement says "Or Best Offer"? It's weird on some of these mom and pop's. They'll have an item priced way over market. You show them a few examples on-line and they still wont deal at all. And they probably used those same examples to low ball the person who sold it to them.

Either way for the most part shouldnt people be able to list an item for whatever they want ? If someone wants to pay there asking price good for them. Wouldnt you hope to be able to sell your own gear for a good price and that used music gear in general keep better value so we all dont take a big hit when selling ?

It is ridiculous, there is a guy in Austin Tx on CL trying to sell a JCA 22 combo for 750.00. what a Fucking idiot. and a guy with a GWAR poster for 250.00. both Ads have been there for months, surely they know.

This was the exact type of listings this OP was about. But thanks to this amazing menagerie of assholes that got involved I probably have more people blocked on this forum than even post here regularly.

NEWS FLASH: No one gives a shit who you have blocked. You can hunker down in your room all day and exclaim, "I'm king of my own castle!!!" while your mom watches Jeopardy in the other room.
