Old news? I'd not heard about this until getting caught in Youtube land this eve...Vai and a 'detuned' seven. :rock:

I really wish Vai would just plug into a Marshall. He's great though. :yes:

I do like how bright and present the guitar tone is. None of this dark tone people seem to be using lately.

If this is over-singing then I wish there were more of it. I'm sure there would be if it didn't take amazing talent to do it. Here's another track that's on that album. Maybe this is more to your liking? I personally think Hughes spanks SH. ymmv.

Overall, I preferred the Chickenfoot version, though the vox on the other one were cool. 8)

Both versions kicked ass! Hughes is unbelievable- but Anthony behind him and that would be badass.
