Hipshot UMP...Why didn't I think of that?

Seriously, this seems like such a no brainer!

I was able to add some locking tuners to my strat without drilling any holes....Just a silly piece of flat with some tabs which I just can't believe no one thought of before...

(FYI...Hipshot stuff is killer but their shipping is nuts...$18.00 for a set of tuners within the US? ...Went to EBAY and saved a quick $25.00, got the set and the UMP for $69.00 with free shipping)

Here's a sill question, did the heftier tuners add a little bit of "mass" to the headstock (ie. increase sustain at all) ?

I have thought about adding locking tuners (Hipshot or Sperzel) to one of my strats, for tuning stability. But was wondering if there might be the added benefit of adding some mass to headstock, like the old trick of playing while pressing headstock against your 4x12, a wall, etc.
