turns out you can get away with murder and attacking the USA if you do it right; while others get bombed, invaded, sanctioned, regime changed for disagreeing with US policy - especially if they have resources the USA can steal (e.g., Iraq, Syria, Libya,...)

As for the non-stop pipeline of money that goes over there, I think it’s ridiculous and it needed to stop decades ago. That whole “ stability in the region” ship has sailed.
