HM Strat Fender 2020 MIJ used vs Charvel DK24 MIM new ??

Hello...!

...a friend of mine is selling a Fender HM STRAT 2020 for 800 euros.... ( and i am thinking in case of buying AN upgrade bridge with Gotoh ) but i was ready to get a DK24 HH MIM brand new..

Same price in the end for both... around 1000 euros...

What would you choose and why ?? I am really confused

I just think HM Strats are much cooler overall.....plus since it's your friend that owns it, I'm sure you could probably play it first and decide if you really dig it right?

In my experience Fender Japan quality is a step above Fender / Charvel MIM. I haven't played the specific models in question, but I've had several different MIMs through here and own 2 Fender Japan strats.

The new HM strats have cheap pickups and a cheap Floyd Rose Special and feel nothing like the originals. Hard pass

I have a dk24, it’s great. I’ve played tons of mexi and American strats…sold lots of both, too. I still prefer the MIM charvel stuff.

As i did mention HM strat is used ...around 800 euros so i would upgrade with a gotoh - As for the pickups i am not so sure if they are crap or not...
